Refund / Returns Policy
1200s.com offers a 14 day return policy on *"most items". If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you can return the items and receive a full refund minus a restocking fee of 20%. This covers the initial shipping cost and materials to have the product sent out to you. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused / unopened and in the same condition that you received it. If retail packaged it must be in its original packaging and unopened. For items not packaged they must not have been installed or used in any way.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift card
- Downloadable software products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Typically we have that on record and can assist you with this.
Please do not send your purchase back without an "Return Merchandise Authorization" #. (RMA)
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 5 business days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check source of payment again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded for a Full Refund, unfortunately sale items will only be refunded for the sale price. In both cases a "restocking fee" applies.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund if it exceeds the 20% restocking fee.
Depending on where you live, and the time of year (example Holidays) shipping times may take longer then normal for your exchanged product to reach you, please be patient and in contact with our support team.
All returns must provide a tracking number. Without a tracking number supplied to us can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. This is for your protection and proof of return.
Defective Items:
For New items being returned as "defective" we will work with the manufacturer regarding their specific warranty policy to have your product repaired or replaced within the scope of each said policy.
* "Most items" do not include "New Turntables" or "New Phonographic Cartridges / Stylus'" or "Tone Arms" as listed on each individual item pages. This includes items that have been opened or where the seal has been tampered with.
